The Serial Reader: Coming Attractions May 2013

Hey! You may have noticed that the This Month's Tour Page on this blog is a tad bit outdated. That's because I simply haven't had the time to update it. I think I've posted everyday so far in this month of May, which is pretty awesome. And I'm super excited to share with you guys what else is in store!

Obviously the month of May has already started, but this is the earliest I could get the post up without conflicting with other things I had planned. There's so much coming this month that everyone will have a chance to be entertained, read fun interviews and guest posts, discover new books, and maybe even win something! So here's what's up with the Serial Reader for the month of May 2013. Stay tuned!

Week Starting May 5

Alright, starting tomorrow, I actually have TWO posts for you. First we have a tour stop for the novella His Broken Angel by Beth Ciotta, brought to you by Tasty Book Tours. I'll be providing you guys with an introduction to the book. It's a Steam-punk Romance, which I'm not familiar with, so it'll be cool to discover a new genre. The best part is I'll be reading the blurb the same time as you guys.
I also have a little contest for tomorrow, which is awesome for all my starving writers. You'll be interested in this. I won't give too much away, though...

May 7 I have a little book promotion post going on. The cool part about it is the book was actually designed by Steven Novak, the same guy who I plan to do my book cover. Small world.

May 8 will be a guest post! Yay! This will be the very first guest post on this blog, so make sure you come by for a visit. We're making history here.

Moving on, May 9 will be a book review, hopefully. I'll be reviewing Kingdom of Heroes by Jay Phillips.  I refuse to say more on that, because I have a feeling I'll spoil the review.

At the end of the week, I'll be reviewing the Keepers by J.L. Block and Arabelle's Shadows by Fleur Gaskin. I was actually supposed to review Arabelle's Shadows last month, but time ran away from me. For anyone who's been anticipating it, here you go.

 Week Starting May 12

  Nantucket Blue

The Forgotten OnesTwisted Summer

This week I call BLITZ WEEK because there will be a crazy amount of action going on. Yes, I will be reviewing all these books! (Maybe not the Forgotten Ones, I'm not sure if I can get to it.) Not only will there be back to back reviews, but there will be giveaways, excerpts, interviews, and other fun stuff. So please do not miss Blitz Week!

By the way, every book above except for Illicit Love and Save my Soul is brought to you by Shane at Itching  For Books. (Shane did a book tour for the Forgotten Ones, but it is over. The author gave me a review copy directly.) So if you want to catch the buy links and see other tours stops, you can click on the link or visit her blog.
The other two books were brought to you by My Reading Addiction Blog Tours, so you can click the link to get buy links and see blurbs and excerpts and things of that nature.

Week Starting May 19

Aversion (Book One of The Mentalist Series)

Sorry guys, the only thing I have planned so far is Aversion by Kenechi Udogu and Fatal by T.A. Brock. But trust me, there will be at least two more posts this week. Things have a tendency to pop up out of nowhere. And if I don't get to the Forgotten Ones in the previous week, I'll get to it here.

By the way, Fatal is a zombie book, for all my zomb-lovers out there. The author told me it's a little different than usual so let's see how it comes out!

Week Starting May 26

This week is a little more eventful than the previous, though not as much as blitz week. Thanks to Tasty Book Tours, I'll be reviewing TORN  by Amber Lehmen. I'm actually super excited about this book...it seems like it has a great concept. Then on behalf of SupaGurl Book Tours, I'll be reviewing both books out of the Dancing With... series by Andrea Heltsley. These I'm also happy about. I feel like I have a great mix of books to review this month. And if I'm not mistaken, all the books above have a giveaway, so that's pretty cool.

Hopefully I'll be ending the month with an excerpt from my book! I'm getting it professionally edited next week, and the cover and the copyright should be done by the end of the month.

Stay tuned in the month of May and don't miss out on the awesomeness
here at the Serial Reader!
